So this last Saturday I went mountain biking up at Sundance with my roomate Ally and her brother Erik for the first time. It was the most fun I have had in a very long time. We rode the ski lift up to the top and then rode the bikes down the mountain all over through the trees and on the side of the mountains. Riding the ski lift was pretty fun seeing as it was my first time ever. I only had one wipe out with just a few scratches and bruises. It was so cool because one of the trails we seemed to go through 3 or 4 different climates (desert, forest etc.). The scenery was beautiful and it was such a nice day. This will definitely be something that I will be doing several more times and hopefully I can eventually get my own mountain bike. Sorry I don't have any pictures, but here a few of the scenery etc.
Other than mountain biking everything is going good here at Aspen Grove. It is finally starting to get warmer. I love being up in the mountains and going hiking lots and all of the other fun stuff. I have been teaching pottery classes which has been going pretty good. For the 4th of July we are going to hike up Timp and watch the Stadium of Fire from up there and then hike back down the next morning. So pretty much I am living the good life and loving it!
